We are expanding our HR team and looking for a Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist who will play a strategic role in building world-class technical teams.
Position Overview
As a Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will lead and optimize the recruitment of senior and mid-level technical professionals across software engineering, DevOps, and infrastructure teams.
You will act as a trusted partner to engineering leaders, driving hiring strategies, improving recruitment processes, and ensuring Ultahost continues to attract top-tier technical talent globally.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical recruitment expertise, market insight, and a consultative mindset.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage the full-cycle recruitment process for senior and high-impact technical roles, including Frontend, Backend, Full Stack, and DevOps positions.
  • Partner closely with CTO, engineering managers, and team leads to define hiring strategies, role scope, and long-term workforce planning.
  • Source, assess, and engage candidates with strong experience in:
    • Programming languages: JavaScript, Python, Go
    • Front-end frameworks: Next.js, React.js, Angular
    • Back-end frameworks: Node.js, Nest.js, Express.js, Golang
    • Hosting & infrastructure: OpenLiteSpeed, NGINX, Apache, Docker, Linux, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Lead structured technical interviews and guide hiring managers on best practices for technical assessments.
  • Build and maintain a high-quality senior talent pipeline through LinkedIn, direct sourcing, referrals, and professional networks.
  • Analyze recruitment data and market trends to continuously improve hiring efficiency and quality.
  • Ensure a premium candidate experience aligned with Ultahost’s global employer brand.
  • Mentor junior recruiters (if applicable) and contribute to the improvement of internal recruitment processes and standards.
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies, competitive landscapes, and technical hiring trends.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in technical recruitment or talent acquisition, with a strong focus on senior technical roles.
  • Proven ability to recruit for complex technical positions in software engineering, DevOps, and infrastructure.
  • Solid understanding of modern software architectures, development frameworks, and hosting technologies.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience partnering with senior engineering leaders.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and candidate engagement skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Advanced experience using ATS systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and recruitment analytics.
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach and strong attention to detail.
